I have lived in this area all my life. I went to school here; I grew up here and I married my wife Sharon some 43 years ago. My day job is working for the good old NHS at The Royal South Hants Hospital in Southampton. I am happy to say that my immediate family give me great support in my council activities. I am now 65 years old and after 28 years' experience representing Titchfield Common ward, as you can believe, it has become a big part of my life. I have served on most of the main council committees - Heath, Environment, Leisure, Procurement, Planning, Licensing, Public Protection - and proudly represented the council at the standards board of Great Britain, a national body overseeing the behaviour of councillors throughout the country. I believe my experience is most important, now more than ever.

The benefits of being an Independent Councillor enables me to make decisions based on residents needs fairly, with no party whip. Being an Independent Councillor is about putting people before politics.

It has been an honour to serve as your Councillor over the last 28 years. If I am re-elected I will continue to do my best for the residents of Titchfield Common.
