I am standing in Chelmsford North division where I have lived for over 40 years.

I have been on the neighbouring Broomfield Parish council for nearly 10 years and pre-Covid-19 helped run a monthly coffee morning. I am interested in planning, housing, public transport and trees, and so I am on the Neighbourhood Plan group, Property and Planning, and Village Amenities Committees. And I am Broomfield's parish transport representative to Essex County Council.
I am an active member of SOLE - Save Our Libraries Essex - which stopped Essex County Council closing many of our smaller public libraries in 2019. However, there are still plans to hive off these libraries to be run by volunteers not properly trained & paid staff.
