Emma is a long-time Green Party member with a strong passion for social justice, which she knows is tied to the climate crisis and economic justice.

She has lived in Hilsea her entire life, so she’s seen how the north of the city has been let down by Portsmouth City Council, no matter which of the other parties on the ballot have been in power.
As your councillor, Emma would insist our council taxes are distributed fairly, to reduce inequality and improve services in underfunded wards.
She will also fight to ensure that flood defences are strengthened throughout the city to ensure our homes are protected for generations to come, campaign to lower our bills and carbon footprint by retrofitting properties across Portsmouth, and make it easier to recycle by making all recycling kerbside collections (including glass).
