I have been an active Labour Party member for more than 20 years.

I have been a Valence Councillor since 2014 and Cabinet Member for Public Realm since 2018. I am responsible for leading the drive for a cleaner, greener borough. I was elected as Chair of Assembly twice.
I hold an MA in Marketing and LLB (Hons) degree. I represent LBBD in the East London Waste Authority, London Transport & Environment Committee and Thames Regional Flood/Coastal Committee. I am a Governor at Grafton Primary and the Adult College.
I attend all Valence forums including, TRA and Safer Neighbourhood Team meetings. I will continue to work on improving Valence with my Ward colleagues.
