Hugo is a local candidate, having lived in Tunbridge Wells for 32 years. A chartered psychologist, he worked in the NHS, local government, industry and consulting. He is Leader of the Labour Group of Councillors on Tunbridge Wells Borough Council and, since 2022, Cabinet member for Housing & Planning. His voluntary work includes 16 years as a governor at two local schools and supporting his local food larder
