Statement to voters

"Dear Elector,

I live in Wednesfield North and was born in Wednesfield. I know our Ward very well.

I am your current local Councillor, I have been Mayoress of the City of Wolverhampton. I promised to work for you when I was first elected, and with the other Labour Councillors as a team. I believe that I have kept that promise. I have been active in supporting the police, as we tackle crime and anti-social behaviour. I am passionate about the National Health Service, and I continue to campaign to save it from privatisation. I have held regular Advice Surgeries in Woodend and Ashmore Park. I support the good work of the volunteers at The Hub and Wednesfield in Bloom. I support the Local Nature Reserve campaign on the Wyrley & Essington Canal.

I hope you will be able to continue to vote for me, So that I may continue to help support you.

Yours sincerely,
Mary Bateman"
