Statement to voters

I served as County Councillor for Daventry West from 2013–2017, leading a small Opposition group on the Council.

    Full statement

We continually drew attention to the financial disaster that was about to befall the Council. Unfortunately the Conservative administration did not listen.

We were proved right in 2018 when the government sent in commissioners to take over the Council. They then announced that the County Council would be replaced.

I live locally on Timken Estate with my family, so I am aware of the local issues here in Daventry. That is especially important because the new Council will be headquartered in Northampton, and the needs of Daventry must not be forgotten.
