Statement to voters
Jon has been teaching excluded children since 2015 and completing a master’s degree in Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties. His recent work and study has given him direct experience austerity has affected communities. Jon finished 20th in the 2014 London Marathon and continues to run in his spare time.
My policy priorities are as follows:
Housing - Create incentives for empty properties to be rented out
Council Tax - Support less well-off residents with council tax
Community - Campaign for a community hub in Redhill West
The prohibitive cost of housing - to rent and to buy - is a massive problem faced by people in Reigate and Banstead. I intend to challenge the council on their inadequate approach to this issue. Additionally, I'll host a fortnightly surgery in the heart of Redhill West to meet residents face-to-face.
This statement was added by Jon Pepper, their team, or by a Democracy Club volunteer, based on information published by the candidate elsewhere.
This candidate has previously stood for election in:
- 2019: The Reigate and Banstead local election, as the Labour Party candidate for the Redhill West & Wray Common
- 2018: The Reigate and Banstead local election, as the Labour Party candidate for the Redhill West
That's all we know! Will you help us find more about this candidate?
