I have served as the Member for Swallowfield ward at Wokingham Borough Council since February 2005 and I live in Swallowfield with my wife and family.

I have served on many committees and outside bodies within and outside the council, recently as Executive Member for Business and Economic Development and Regeneration; and non-executive Chairman of Wokingham Borough Council Holdings Ltd.

I am a Chartered Manager and Chartered Marketeer with 40years plus experience in Board and senior positions of international High Technology businesses and am the owner of MTEL (Scotland) Ltd; focussing on the high growth areas of the Technology marketplace, providing a consulting and business development resource at board level. I've had several non-executive board and Chairman Roles and is a registered non executive director with the IOD (Institute of Directors).
