Statement to voters

I stand as the Labour Party always has for a better life for the many. At this election we have a chance to throw out this government and their failed policies. Since 2010 we have had nothing but cuts. Cuts that have left us with insufficient police to watch all the potential terrorists. Schools in Stowmarket that have had to sack teachers. We have some of the most expensive rail fares in Europe with the Tories failed rail privatisation. The navy has one aircraft carrier but no aircraft to put on it. Worst of all the NHS is being starved of funds. The Tories would like to privatise it.
There is a better way. Under a Labour government we can have an adequately funded NHS. We can have good schools for all not the few. We will ensure that our people are trained for the jobs that need doing.
Let me share my ambition with you. I want to be the best constituency MP in the whole House of Commons representing you and getting the best for you. I can not promise to solve everyone’s problems but I will be your champion and I will make sure that every letter and every email is answered as your views are important to me.
I believe that if enough people vote Labour in this election we can have a better life for the many not the few so this is why I am asking for your vote on Thursday June 8th.
