Statement to voters

"YOU will be my priority if I am elected as our new Member of Parliament (MP) for East Leeds.

Full statement

East Leeds born and bred, I deeply care about what happens here. If an issue is affecting you, it affects me. I found it difficult at times to ask for help as a carer for my late Mum, orwho to reach out to when I did need help. When knocking on doors, I know you want your new MP to be active as well as accessible: someone to turn to with whatever local matter is bothering you. You deserve a better than absent Labour MP who blames others rather than trying to find solutions for OUR area. I am proud to be from Whinmoor, went to our local schools, played with our local football clubs, volunteered for work in our community and charity boards, as well as fighting as a local Leeds Councillor for the last 6 years. Please vote for ME, so I can deliver for YOU!”
