Statement to voters
I have lived in Prestwich for over 20 years. Over this time I have brought up a family and worked nearby as a secondary school teacher. I have been delighted with the recent growth of the Green Party which shares my values of protecting the environment and sustainability.
As a resident in the ward I've been following the proposal for the housing development in Simister and have been engaging with other residents on this issue. If elected, I will continue to fight to protect green belt land that can be enjoyed for future generations to come.
