Mike Collins's policies

Statement to voters

"Michael Collins is the local Conservative Candidate for Pensby Barnston and Thingwall.

Full statement

This is the most marginal seat in Wirral - Labour clung on by just 23 votes last time.

The ward covers the communities of Pensby, Thingwall, Barnston and part of Heswall. Living in Pensby, Mike was a governor at Pensby Juniors, then Pensby Primary school, for more than 25 years.

Mike is an active member of the Church of England where he was a Lay minister in Pensby and Barnston until he was asked to help in New Brighton Parish.

Mike’s priorities for Pensby and Thingwall are: > To protect our precious green belt from unwanted, reckless development > To ensure that our area gets its fair share of Town Hall spending > To ensure that Wirral is a clean, green safe area with opportunities and activities for all"

This statement was last updated on May 5, 2023.

This statement was added by Mike Collins, their team, or by a Democracy Club volunteer, based on information published by the candidate elsewhere.
