Statement to voters
Jon Irwin has lived in Tooting for 10 years. As a home-working, self-employed event organiser, Wandsworth is an extension of his home. He has played an active role in many local projects. These include setting up the successful Save the Wheatsheaf petition, campaigning for safer streets, co-chairing the Wandsworth Environment Forum, and being vice-chair of his local Safer Neighbourhood Team panel. Playing Touch Rugby locally led to him representing England in the Men's 30s squad and in the winter months he can be seen splashing about in Tooting Bec Lido.
This statement was added by Jon Irwin, their team, or by a Democracy Club volunteer, based on information published by the candidate elsewhere.
