Mary is a long-serving Marston Councillor, having first been elected in 1998. She has consistently fought for cycling and park improvements. Recently she supported the local campaign to re-open the Somerset Pub and opposed the Oxford Brookes re-development on John Garne Way. She is a governor at St Joseph’s School and Cabinet Member for Culture and the City Centre.
