I have lived in Chapel End for 23 years and always loved the strong and friendly community.

I’ve been involved with various community organisations, including The Hornbeam Centre at Bakers Arms and Friends of Lloyd Park, and I set up Green Drinks to bring people together to talk about green and community issues. I’ve just started helping run People’s Assemblies to discuss local issues and hope to do more.

My new business is ‘Good Life Tours’ visiting inspiring community groups, artists’ studios and green spaces in the borough to bring people together and give people and local projects a boost.

What Sue Stands For
I want to help make sure that the community is supported as much as possible in the decision making within the Council chamber, and that vital issues that affect us are acted on, like waste management, making housing developments really affordable and environmentally sound, improving access to GPs, support for our young people and vulnerable people, and much more.

I would hope that my community action and organising, plus a career in media and communications, will help bring the issues that are most important to residents to the fore and create an even better place to live.
