Laura Bannister's policies

Statement to voters

I stand for the Green Party's core values – social justice, sustainability and internationalism – and I have fought for these values within and outside the Green Party for many years.

Full statement

I have campaigned actively against the Iraq war, public services cuts, climate change and fracking, and in support of the NHS, free education and the rights of asylum seekers and refugees. I run an organisation that works to tackle global inequality, and ensure that people everywhere get a fair share from the world's common resources. I believe very deeply that every human being matters, and that politics needs to be re-captured as the arena in which we come together to solve our common problems and make our lives, our communities and our world better.
