Statement to voters

Dear Resident,

I am your British Democrats candidate standing in Rowhill Ward for the Rushmoor Borough Council elections.

Full statement

As a Rowhill resident, I care deeply about our community. If elected, I will listen to your concerns and work hard everyday to solve local problems. I'm ready to be a strong voice for my neighbours and deliver the results our ward deserves.

I am a lifelong resident of Farnborough & Aldershot. The people and community are of the utmost importance to me.

I am the only candidate campaigning against the abolition of Rushmoor Council and our distinct local identity. While other parties support merging Rushmoor into a Unitary Authority with neighbouring councils, I will fight to keep our council independent and as local as possible.

I have 8 positive pledges for Rowhill & Rushmoor:

✅️ End the use of Potters International Hotel for migrant housing

✅️ Put local residents first for housing

✅️ Reduce Council Tax; make efficiency savings

✅️ Tackle Crime & Anti-Social Behaviour

✅️ Protect our green spaces from unnecessary overdevelopment

✅️ Better Support for Veterans & elderly residents

✅ Save Rushmoor Council: Demand a local referendum on the future unitary authority.

✅️ Two hours free parking for residents: Supporting local shops, helping local people

I advocate for positive policies that address housing, the safety of women and children, and the preservation of our local green spaces. I am committed to cutting taxes, tackling crime and anti-social behaviour, and providing robust support for veterans and the elderly, while ensuring locals have a choice regarding the unitary authority. Ultimately, I support local policies that truly work for local people.

Whilst the other candidates represent their own interests and ends; I will serve the interests of the people and needs of the local residents.

I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible over the coming weeks and hearing your views on how we can improve our community.

With best wishes,

Zack Culshaw

British Democrats Candidate for Rowhill Ward

P.S. Please remember: a vote for me is a mandate to demand a local referendum and ensure Rowhill residents have the final say on the future of our council.
