Statement to voters
I am very pleased to be your Labour and Co-operative candidate.
Full statement
Many of you will know me as a vocal campaigner for the town and the High Street in particular. I organised events such as the carnival and Picnic on the Plaza and will do so again.
Covid 19 exposed the vulnerabilities in our community, and I applaud all of you in the NHS and those who supported the old, the disabled, isolated people and the hungry. I think it is important to build on that experience, recognise our strengths and support the weakest.
We are fortunate to live in the Surrey Hills we appreciate and want to protect the environment. I believe there is a bright future to be built on new investment the builds on green industry and innovation to create new opportunities for us all to enjoy happier healthier productive lives and build a more caring society together.
