Having been a London Councillor for over a decade, I know what standing up for residents in the most difficult circumstances truly means.

I am first and foremost a campaigner and I have always put my community and residents first, securing tangible results. As a young working mum, I also know first hand the struggles that families face. I will stand up and advocate for everyone in West Ham and Beckton.

I will immediately start to campaign to reopen Plaistow police station - with the unacceptable rising levels of crime in London, reopening the station is a priority. We are now in a situation where we do not have a single police station in the entire constituency. Labour closed this in 2017 and we must get the police station reopened.

I will also campaign to secure investment in Newham Hospital, something the Labour MP and Labour run Council have never bothered to ask for and completely failed on. The hospital is an extremely valuable health care centre for us all. We must also ensure enough affordable housing is secured with the ongoing new developments taking place in the area.
