Statement to voters

I was born and educated in Sutton and then left to go to University. On my return to London, I settled in Wimbledon and worked as a maths teacher for nearly 40 years. When I retired I moved back to Sutton. I work as a volunteer advisor for a charity which helps older people. This role gives me an insight into the problems faced by older people in Sutton including poverty, poor housing and social isolation.

This statement was added by Marian Wingrove, their team, or by a Democracy Club volunteer, based on information published by the candidate elsewhere.
