Statement to voters
“I'm delighted to have been chosen as the Liberal Democrat candidate for the Oundle by election. I'm looking forward to talking to local people about the financial incompetence of local Conservatives that has brought the County Council to its knees. Oundle and District needs a strong county councillor who will listen to what local people have to say and stand up for our area. If local people put their trust in me I will be that councillor.”
Marc is 51 years old. He has lived in Oundle since 1971 and went to both Laxton School and Prince William School. Marc is a business owner and lawyer in a niche litigation practice in Cambridgeshire. He has been married for 25 years this year and has two children aged 20 and 17. This summer Marc is looking forward to when his children will be 21 and 18 respectively and to celebrating his Silver Wedding Anniversary, all in space of 7 weeks! Marc's older daughter is at University while his younger daughter is at school locally studying A Levels. Marc studied law at the University of Kent in Canterbury and is now an injury and medical litigation specialist. Marc loves travel, languages, politics and Peterborough United. He is the founder of Oundle Europeans and Chairman of and fundraiser for a cancer charity in Peterborough. Marc has visited all 28 EU Member States.
