Statement to voters
From Macc, For Macc.
Full statement
I’m proud to be from Macclesfield; growing up in Macclesfield Central and living here now. I’m standing in this Cheshire East by election not for opportunistic self-gain, but believe I am a local resident who cares. I believe in progressive politics, working solely towards improving the lives of those in my community and being an open, transparent and accountable elected leader.
I’ve been proud to represent Macc Central since 2023 on the Town Council, and during that time have delivered for residents, with my nationally-recognised ‘Free Bus Days’ initiative, supporting around local issues and making our town safer for everyone.
If elected to Cheshire East, I will be able to be the strongest voice for residents, fighting for better roads, strengthened services and improved accountability from the Council.
It would mean the world to me to be your representative on Cheshire East Council. If I can help, please email me at jamesbarberchadwick@gmail.com
