Statement to voters
I am 44-years old and have lived in Breach Lane in Upchurch for nearly 20 years. Throughout that period I have worked in Bobbing, Iwade and Lower Halstow as part of the local rural economy.
I am currently Chairman for Upchurch Parish Council where I have successfully encouraged the delivery of a range of exciting projects, including the installation of the village bus shelter, our Nations Tribute WW1 commemorative beacon, as well as maintaining village services and improving the environment.
I have a keen interest in our community and want to provide a strong voice for residents, community groups, organisations or local businesses within the ward. I will champion local issues and concerns and ensure they are raised with the council.
My track record of getting things done is a practical, no nonsense approach. “Actions speak volumes”. Residents want to see results so doing a good job and delivering those results is key. I am passionate to strengthen our communities, improve our services and help our villages thrive.
