I grew up in rural Herefordshire and moved to South Devon at the age of 21, working in the tourism industry before joining the civil service.

As the mother of two children, I felt the effects of fourteen years of Conservative austerity. Now, I work as a Trade Union official, representing teachers across the South West.
I know our communities well, and I know how they have been impacted by fourteen years of Conservative government. As your MP, and under a Labour government, I would work everyday to get our NHS back on its feet, tackle rural crime, clean up our rivers and seas, make public transport work better for local people, and secure investment in the green jobs and industries of the future. The Conservatives have taken our corner of Devon for granted for too long. Vote for me on July 4th to stop the chaos, turn the page and rebuild Britain’s future.
