Statement to voters
I have lived and worked in Staines for about 40 years, have been a Borough councillor for the Staines ward since 2023 and was also a councillor between 2015-2019.

My main areas of focus are:
- Stopping the overdevelopment of Staines
- Making Staines a better place to live, work, shop and relax
- Curbing antisocial behaviour
- Ensuring Staines has a strong voice in the new, bigger authority
- Tackling the borough’s debt
- Improving access to the riverfront and making Staines more pedestrian-friendly
- Putting residents first, not politics
I have played an instrumental role in saving the former Debenhams building from demolition (see the "Save Staines High Street From Greedy Developers" Facebook group), creating a sound Local Plan, a Design Code that takes groundwater flood risk into account, reducing debt and a plan to improve Staines.
