Statement to voters
Dear Resident, I am 69 years old and have Iived on Canvey Island for the past 34 years.

I am a retired I.T. Development manager and one time Materials Scientist. I joined the Canvey Island Independent party at it's formation. During the last few years I, like any other Canvey island residents, have become increasingly angered and frustrated by the complete disregard of the Islander's wishes and ambitions for Canvey island by the ruling Conservative group on the Castle Point Borough Council.
I will devote my efforts to support the wishes of not only those who support the Canvey Island Independent Party but all the residents who feel that there must be more local control of policies that affect the Island, it's residents and it's businesses.
