Richard Chesterton is the Devon County Council Candidate for Cullompton and Bradninch.

He has also previously been a Mid Devon District Councillor for Lower Culm, which includes Kentisbeare, between 2007 and 2023, where he was also a cabinet member. Richard is on the Devon and Somerset Authority as a representative of Devon County Council and is the Chair of the Land and Property Committee on DCC.
Richard is a hardworking representative. In his roie as Mid Devon Cabinet Member for Planning, he was responsible for submitting plans for a relief road in Cullompton, which has finally reached Devon County Council for approval. Richard is committed to reducing traffic in Cullompton and following John Berry as a strong community councillor for Cullompton & Bradninch,
