Gordon Lundie's policies
Statement to voters
Gordon Lundie has lived in the Shrivenham division for the last 10 years, serving on the Parish Council and Chairing the local village Trust.
Full statement
He works in the healthcare sector, helping the NHS to provide patients with new treatments for cancer and viral diseases like COVID. The son of a fireman and a nurse, Gordon was raised to believe that public service is central to a strong community . Before moving to the area he was a Councillor in Berkshire where he was also the Leader of his Local Authority. Gordon has the time – and the experience – to serve as your County Councillor
Whilst he was a Councillor he successfully removed the fines from Children's books in our libraries, so disadvantaged families could get risk free access, introduced the living wage to support families employed by the Council on lower incomes and set a target for the delivery of affordable houses by developers - making them keep their promises!
If elected, getting a fair rural village settlement and bringing forward additional healthcare support in the Shrivenham area will be amongst his priorities
