Statement to voters

Councillor Emma Dixon is a lifelong resident of the area and lives in Saltford were she and her husband are bringing up three young girls.

Emma works at Saltford Primary School as a Teaching Assistant and when she is not being a busy mother and can find some spare time, she can often be found running the streets or enjoying a karate lesson, both of which are hobbies she enjoys immensely.

Since being elected in 2015 life as a Ward Councillor for Saltford, Emma has been kept pretty busy worked tirelessly with many organisations, including the Parish Council and B&NES Council, to represent Saltford's voice and needs.

Emma hopes to continue sticking up for residents in Saltford and also the residents of the parishes of Corston, Newton St Loe and Compton Dando all of which will become part of the Saltford Ward at the forthcoming Council Elections in May. As a life-long resident of the area, she has extensive links to and knowledge of all the villages in the new Saltford Ward and will represent all the villages with equal dedication and enthusiasm.
