Statement to voters

James Butler is a dad, a former councillor, and an experienced campaigner. Having worked closely with some of the leading British planners in a previous job, he retains an interest and enthusiasm for the subject and wishes to use his knowledge to help bring Belper Mill back into use. He is also interested in how councils can use their procurement spend to bring additional benefits to residents and wants to see the council make more use of the Social Value Act.

This statement was added by James Butler, their team, or by a Democracy Club volunteer, based on information published by the candidate elsewhere.
