Sophie says: "The greatest challenge this decade is going to be combating climate change without raising the cost of living for those who are already struggling.

By supporting public transport, encouraging biodiversity, supporting community projects such and planning public spaces so that they are safe and accessible for everyone, regardless of age or mobility, we can help the people of Suffolk to lower their carbon footprint whilst living well.
I am committed to creating a cleaner, greener, happier Suffolk and, as actions speak louder than words, I am showing this commitment by only walking, cycling and using the bus network around Suffolk, which enables me to share the experience and challenges of many Suffolk residents."
Sophie lives in Ipswich with her husband and two black, furry dogs, Toto and Ozzy. In her spare time, she is a radio presenter on Ipswich Online Radio, hosing poetry show 'Charms on a Chain' and also volunteers for a local animal charity, along with acting as Secretary for the Ipswich Liberal Democrats.
Sophie was called to the Bar at the Inner Temple in 2008 and works in Ipswich.
