Statement to voters

I'm delighted to be giving people in Hereford and South Herefordshire a Green choice again in 2019. I'm proud to be a local politician, having been elected to Herefordshire council in May, as one of 7 Greens. We now share power with Independents and a local party - this means more representative democracy for local people, which they appreciate. I really value this cross-party co-operation for the common good, and am committed to the same way of working national level.
My background is education and NGOs, and I lived and worked in Newcastle, the Philippines and France, before coming to live in Herefordshire in 2003 with my three children, now adults. I've also worked in Adult literacy and for Alzheimer's Society, and volunteer for Refugee Action and the local hospice.
I have the skills, energy and understanding to be a highly effective MP for the people of Hereford and South Herefordshire, and am very encouraged by their support.
Every green vote is a vote for a future that is cleaner, fairer and more democractic.
Now is the time to move on from our outdated political ideas and systems!
