Julian Cusack is a widely experienced local councillor, business leader and charity volunteer.

He is a former Suffolk County councillor, a member of the national Executive Committee of the Green Party of England and Wales and Chair of the party in Suffolk Coastal. A Chartered Accountant, he has held senior executive and Board positions with major companies in the insurance sector in the UK and abroad. Throughout his career he has taken voluntary financial roles in charities dealing with homelessness, domestic violence, community relations and residents' associations, and has been a school governor. Julian lives at Middleton in the heart of the Suffolk Coastal constituency, where he chairs the Parish Council. In nearby Kelsale he and his wife Fiona now farm 50 acres as a small local enterprise demonstrating sustainable food production and wildlife-friendly farming practices.
