Statement to voters
Dear Rushmere St Andrew resident, I am standing to be your district councillor.

I have lived locally in Kesgrave for 28 years and worked in East Suffolk in Telecommunications for 8 of those. I am grateful to live in our amazing county of Suffolk with its natural beauty and historical significance. I sincerely want to help my home county prosper in the years ahead. The Conservative run Suffolk County Council requested to postpone the planned May elections this year because of Labour’s upcoming changes to local government. This was accepted by the Labour government. These changes will include a combined Norfolk and Suffolk authority. I do not think these changes will benefit local people and that they will move decision making further away from residents.
