Statement to voters

"Edward lives in the ward and is an active campaigner for disability rights and the Party's Diversity Officer

Edward says: "When I was a small child I had Measles and soon after I had an illness called Hydrocephalus.

Full statement

As a result of Hydrocephalus, I have a handwriting disability, balance problems, now I wear glasses and I am Neurologically Diverse. I'm lucky, I could have died! Needless to say I am an ardent campaigner for everyone with children to get them vaccinated with the MMR vaccine.

I moved up to Suffolk in 2013 and have been a Parish Councilor for Martlesham since 2015. I was a Parish Councilor for the Willingdon and Jevington Parish Council in East Sussex. I learned how to do street politics in Eastbourne in East Sussex in the noughties and this provided me with insights on how to do casework. It was drilled into me in East Sussex that I should always wear a suit when out canvassing!"

This statement was added by Ed Thompson, their team, or by a Democracy Club volunteer, based on information published by the candidate elsewhere.
