Statement to voters
I have lived in Hillside Drive for over 30 years, and have been actively involved in the community since then.

Previously an education advisor and head teacher, I am now involved in the post graduate education of junior doctors.
I am a member of the Parish Church Council at Holy Trinity Church, and represent the area on the Synod.
I have also been instrumental in improving our local parks and open spaces, and as one of the Trustees of the Leisure Centre, have overseen the improvements at the Centre. I chair the Southwell Sports Forum which supports our many and differing sports clubs.
As your local councillor I am keen to protect our town from huge and inappropriate development and I chaired the early stages of the Neighbourhood Plan. I am campaigning to ensure that the District Council follows its policies and does not ignore them.
