Statement to voters

Liz Townsend is standing for re-election to Waverley Borough Council this May.

Liz is well known in Cranleigh for representing residents all year round, from challenging Thames Water to leading significant investment projects. Her work across all levels of local government has ensured Cranleigh receives more of the funding and support it needs.

At Waverley, Liz has introduced stronger sustainability criteria for planning applications and supported the legal challenge against fossil-fuel drilling in Dunsfold.
