With its beautiful parks, valleys and beaches it should be an area people want to visit, to live, and to set up businesses. Over the years complacency and mistakes have prevented us from exploiting that potential. We’ve been taken too much for granted here, and that needs to change.

If elected, I would do my very best to be the kind of MP that Aberavon really needs – one who is always working hard knocking on doors in our communities and knocking on the doors of power to hold those behind them to account. We need an MP who is constantly listening and talking to local people, keeping in touch all year around, and serving and supporting all of our local communities in the way that they deserve. That has always been the Liberal Democrat way, and that is what I would be honoured to have the opportunity to deliver for Aberavon.
