I've raised my family here, and I've been actively involved in our community for decades, serving as a Parish Councillor since 1997, including terms as Vice Chair, and as a Trustee of Cleeve Common during the challenging times of Covid.

My experience matters. For over 20 years, I've worked in education as a School Operations Manager. This has given me firsthand insight into the challenges our schools face: from budget cuts and overcrowding to the growing needs of SEND pupils and rising student absences due to mental health concerns. I understand these issues because I've lived them – my son attended Woodmancote and Cleeve Schools. I've also learned how to manage complex budgets, advocate for resources, and work effectively with diverse stakeholders – skills I'll bring to the Winchcombe and Woodmancote division at Gloucestershire County Council.

I'm standing to address the issues that matter most to our community:

Improving Infrastructure: Our roads and pavements are in desperate need of repair. I'll fight for GCC to take action.

Supporting Our Schools: We need new schools within walking distance of new housing developments, and I'll advocate for the funding our schools deserve.

Tackling Traffic Congestion: Traffic around our schools and in our villages is a nightmare. I'll work on strategies to ease congestion and reduce speeding.

Enhancing Connectivity: Safe cycle routes and improved bus services are essential for connecting our communities.

Responsible Development: We need a sustainable housing policy that meets local needs, protects our environment, and ensures better public engagement in the planning process.

Protecting Our Environment: I'll champion better flood protection, improved recycling rates, and the preservation of our public open spaces and AONB for future generations.

My manifesto focuses on six key areas:

Fix the Finances: Our finances need urgent attention. I'll bring financial expertise and demand accountability.

Protect Our Environment: I'm committed to preserving our green spaces and tackling environmental challenges.

Support Our Communities: I'll work to strengthen local services and support community initiatives.

Safeguard Our Neighbourhoods: I'll address anti-social behaviour and work to make our communities safer.

Ensure a Clean Area: I'll tackle fly-tipping, dog fouling, and protect our weekly bin collections.

Listen to You: I'll hold regular councillor surgeries and keep you informed through social media.

A vote for me is a vote for action, a vote for change, and a vote for a stronger community. I'm ready to work hard for you.
