Statement to voters
All across England and Wales, people will be voting for a greener, more equal society for everyone and we need your help to make this happen. After months of uncertainty, this is the time to Vote Green, so that we can take urgent action on the climate emergency and deliver a Green New Deal which will create a greener, fairer Britain for all.
Unlike other parties, the Green Party does not accept funding from big business, the finance sector or trade unions. We do this so that we can stay independent from these agendas and act in the best interests of our community.
Hannah Temple lives in Faversham, is a Trustee at the Abbey Physic Community Garden and an active local volunteer, she says:
"I am so excited about this election. We are running the biggest and most energetic campaign in our history. Whoever we elect will shape not just the next few months, but the next five years and beyond.
Traditional political parties are failing us and our planet. Now is the time to vote for our values. I love this area and I would be honoured to be selected to represent our amazing community."
