About Martin
I’ve lived in Waltham Forest since 2022, and grew up in Newham.
Full statement
I’m an NHS GP, so every day I see how poor housing, inequality and lack of access to care affect people’s health directly. I’m working hard to fix this.
I’ve led a cardiovascular outreach programme across Waltham Forest, and during the pandemic I protected vulnerable communities. I’ve heard many of our neighbours share a concern about inadequate GP provisions.
Only a loud Green voice on this council can advocate for fair care access.
What Martin stands for
I want to get the basics right: GP services, planning decisions made openly, and public money used to build long-term resilience rather than short-term profit. Councillors should answer to us residents, that’s the job.
The demolition of medical practices without adequate replacement is exactly what happens when developers aren’t held to account.
As a GP I understand the importance that strong health infrastructure and quality housing has on our wellbeing, and will be advocating for these on behalf of our community.
