Full statement

Attended Kilmaine Primary school & Gransha Boys High School, worships at Ballyholme COI and is a Christian, a member of the Orange Order, former Councillor for Ballyholme and Groomsport, formally worked for the Health Service.

In this election your voice really does count and the people of North Down will get the chance to send a strong voice to represent them at Westminster on key areas such as health, education, jobs, security, Brexit and the Union. At a time when strong leadership is needed to help NI get the best deal from Brexit and to oppose Sinn Fein’s demands for a border poll, only the DUP can do that. I want to see help for local business and help bring more jobs and investment to North Down. I want to see the maximum support for local community organisations and to build the confidence in our future generations of young people. I want to fight for more funding through our block grant to boost our local services such as the PSNI, Health and Education as well as assisting the business community.

While others just talk I have a proud record of delivery with a free to use ATM for Millilse, working towards a sports hub for Donaghadee for young people, 3 jobs fairs for Bangor and 5 playgrounds, I am also working towards news school builds for St Columbanus, Bangor Central and Holywood, more free parking to help local businesses in Bangor, and fighing to keep Portavoe in public ownership. A vote for me and the DUP is a vote to be strong on the Union and strong for delivery for you in North Down!
