He studied at UCLA and Cambridge University and has practised as a lawyer for his professional career to this day. He has studied war studies in extensive detail.

Robert's hope is that the will of the people and the democratic traditions which have shaped Britain into the nation it has become will prevail. He does not like to see a parliament overturn a popular vote, whichever way one voted in the Referendum, and considers it integral to preserve the democratic values of the country.

A vote for Labour will be to vote for even more uncertainty and for somebody who has been an elected official for nearly 15 years, whereas Robert hopes a vote for him will enable him to deliver on democracy and be part of a new politics where people are really listened to. By having never held political office before, Robert is in a position to be able to deliver that.
