Statement to voters

I am Andrew Kiss and live with my wife Jenny in Roag, north west Skye having moved to the island in 2012; our daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren live nearby.

I am passionate about local communities across the whole island area, especially where education, health, infrastructure and the environment are of concern. Making a difference is what drives me.

An engineer and project manager until recently, I have had a long and varied career in the automotive industry. I enjoy using my skills, to help out in the community when and as required, and have for some time been involved with local trusts and schools.

The need for new challenges has led me to seek a more rewarding existence, and I would be honoured for the opportunity to work on your behalf, for the communities of Skye and Raasay.

If you elect me, I will be a committed community representative. I will listen carefully and work hard to enhance the quality of life and maximise opportunities in this vibrant and diverse part of the world.

Public office is a privilege, and I would be honoured for the opportunity to work hard on your behalf. Please vote on Thursday 12 March, for me to represent you as SNP councillor for Eilean a' Cheò - Skye and Raasay.
