Statement to voters

Born and raised in a small mining village of South Lanarkshire I know all to well the challenges ordinary people face here.

Full statement

For the whole of my adult life Scotland has been stuck in the slow lane, or in fact has been going backwards. Now we are faced with the prospect of another lost generation at the hands of the same old faces in politics.

However, as the polls show, there is a mood of change on the street because the public find themselves having more common sense than the entire political establishment.

We don’t need to spend years of debate and millions of taxpayers’ cash on court cases to establish what a woman is. No we don’t.

It’s obvious to us that shipping in oil and gas from around the world rather than using the resources on our own doorstep is making our energy bills massive and crippling our economy.

We are not daft, we know someone is up to no good if they’d rather spend £5000 on being illegally smuggled into the country than spend £50 on a budget flight.

You see this is what people are voting for when they chose Reform. They’re voting to get people whose judgment they can trust into government. They’re turning to Reform, like I did, as Reform understands the urgency with which people lives need to improve. Reform has the guts to call out the nonsense, stop the endless waste of taxpayers’ cash, and put in place the bold strategies required to make Scotland an economic and cultural leader once again.

Vote Ross Lambie on Thursday 5 June – let’s make real change happen.
