Samara runs a number of local community groups and was placed on the RBC Roll of Honour in 2019 for her volunteering work.

A fierce advocate for her community, her aims are to offer transparency, accountability and a strong reliable voice for those she represents.

Working as a leader in a National children's charity, Samara understands issues around health, social care, public funding and education.

Samara follows the call of 'Deeds Not Words' and this can be seen in the work that she has been doing in her community for a number of years. Campaigns for speed calming measures, community litter picking, food insecurity projects, reporting potholes and lobbying for more resurfacing schemes, running a Covid response Mutual Aid Group, setting up Rossendales first Play Street are just a few of the things she has done.

Samara is a trusted voice and truly represents her residents well.
