Statement to voters

I’ve long supported green principles but, as a father, have grown increasingly concerned that too little is being done to build a fair, sustainable society for my children.

Full statement

I have a background in data analytics - and joined the Green Party as I can see the evidence for acting now against the Climate Crisis is overwhelming. Action is needed both to stop the decline, but also to deal with the problems we're always witnessing.

However, I'm not exclusively standing to fight for the environment. As a business owner, I see the suffering and injustice of our current society every day. I can see what needs to be done, but also understand the challenges businesses face in trying to do their part, and the kinds of support which would make a real difference. For my part, I have previously worked with a number of charities to promote digital inclusion and currently volunteer as a STEM Ambassador, helping inspire young people and open new opportunities for their futures.

I want to see a society which not only survives, but in which everyone thrives, and will work tirelessly towards that end.
