Statement to voters
Since 2021 Dominic has been an Amersham Town Councillor, playing a key role in running the Council and being a local champion for residents.

He was Chair of the Town Council’s Finance & General Purposes Committee for 3 years, guiding it through the toughest economic conditions for decades with the end of Covid and then the cost of living crisis. Due to his input, Amersham Town Council finances are stronger in 2025 than they were in 2021.
In May 2024 Dominic became the Mayor of Amersham which has many duties including being the Chair of Amersham Town Council, running full council meetings and overseeing the work of the Council.
As he passionately believes that volunteers change the world and makes communities stronger Dominic chose to focus on volunteering as his theme for his Mayoral year, helping residents to find suitable roles, promoting roles within charities and groups and in March 2025 organised Amersham’s biggest ever Volunteer Awards with over 150 local people recognised and celebrated for their volunteering.
As well as his Amersham Town Council duties he has supported local residents with various issues from business advice, visas, parking issues and getting dangerous potholes repaired.
Amersham resident Dominic is the Chief Executive of 2 charities as well as a social enterprise all working to increase and develop volunteering and community participation, from large corporations to hyper-local volunteering.
