Statement to voters
Andy has lived in the ward for many years with a history of giving back to his community.

Until recently he was a governor at QMC and Kings Furlong Infants, and even now volunteers with a local mental health charity.
Andy understands the issues facing his fellow residents and was very disappointed to learn that the current local Liberal Democrat Councillors didn’t feel that East and Grove residents would benefit from a freeze on council charges for green waste services, bulky waste collection or replacement bins, whilst a wide-ranging review of the services takes place. He feels this ignores the financial difficulties people are in as a result of the pandemic, and also misses the opportunity to improve the services so that we can meet climate change challenges and keep our environment looking nice by preventing fly-tipping.
